Glad to hear that my wife and I aren't the only couple with this dynamic! My wife also has no interests in podcasts. She'll occasionally listen to an episode if I really want to discuss it with her, but she's not innately interested in doing so.
Two hobbies we enjoy partaking in together are board games and video games, since they combine a bit of making and learning. Both involve learning new systems (and sometimes world lore), but they also typically expect you to build up a deck/character/team/etc.
I'm 100% a learner and my wife is 100% a maker.
We accepted this a long time ago, but this is the first time I've thought about it as a personality trait.
I've toyed with making things in the past, but it's not something I enjoy doing, more something I like to have done, if that makes sense.
My wife cannot stand listening to podcasts, and she has to be in the right mood for audio books. Whereas I listen to them for many hours a day.
